Holy Shit! Holy Shit, just watch the damn show! That could be the end of this review and it would be enough.
HBO does a beautiful job of bringing the imaginings of J.R.R. Martin to life on the screen. The show is dirty, captivating, and completely addictive. I’m pretty sure I ended up feeling all the feels. The cast is so amazing and diverse, and the script is so well written that you can’t help but fall in love with all the characters (or almost all of them). Sure, there are some minor changes from the book’s plot, and certain characters who don’t make appearances from the book, but they are minor enough that you don’t have too much to complain about overall. The only bad part of this show is that it will end.
This show is extremely graphic, so I wouldn’t recommend it to those who have a weak stomach. I have a taste for the blood and gore and there were many times I had to close my eyes or turn my head.
