Winter BookBathBox Review
The book: Pilot X tells the story of a pilot in a society of time travelers who saves, or destroys, the universe (depends on your opinions). He relays the history of how this came to be; involving politics, manipulation tactics, and secret societies. Was he the hero of the book? Or the villain? Read it to formulate your own judgments.
The Bath: Time Travel Bath Bomb by Fizzy Fairy Apothecary – This bath bomb turned by water a fun orange hue! I loved that this bomb was special made for the BookBathBox customers to match the colors from the cover of the novel. This has been my favorite bath bomb so far. It had a wonderful citrus smell that had hints of grapefruit and jasmine. There was also a surprise charm inside that had a galaxy type imaging on it, which I thought perfectly matched the book’s theme.
The Candle: Verity Candle by Natura Amantis - This candle was a perfect choice as one of the extras in the box as the AI ship that Pilot X flies with is named Verity. I’ve always been a fan up candles that remind me of the outdoors so it’s no surprise that this has been my favorite candle out of all the boxes I’ve gotten so far. It smelled of a pine and cedar mixture and I just couldn’t get enough of it!
The Cookie: Pineapple Planet Cookie by Spinklemade – Again, this was a cute choice in extras as the book had a running joke about the Pineapple Planet. The cookie itself got a “meh” out of me. It was small, and a little hard for my liking when it comes to sugar cookies. It didn’t make me spit it back out, but it also didn’t feel like it was worth it’s weight in sugar.
