Winter BookBathBox Review

The book: Evadne is the antithesis of her sister Dorina. One is proper and perfectly happy staying on the straight and narrow path; while the younger is hungry to experience the city, it’s art, and all other expressions of beauty (no matter how improper some may seem). Both will follow separate paths that will usher them into a world of demons and their close relationship to humans. The question is: will they survive it all?

The Bath: Dorina Gray Bubble Bath by The Soap Librarian – I loved that this custom bubble bath was named after one of the main chracters of the book. The smell of this bubble bath is marvelous! It’s primary scent is lavender, but there is also a nice musky undertone so it’s not overly flowery. It has hints of amber and vanilla and I can tell you…if I can order more…I will!
The Extras: Soap – Classic Book by The Soap Librarian - This soap didn’t smell anything like old book pages which was the description given of the product. However, this soap left my hands softer than with any other soap I’ve used in a long time. I think the thing that is the biggest downside for me on this one is that I don’t really use bar soap. I’m more of a pump and wash sort of girl.
The Extras: Tea – Debauchery by Jenna Hatcher at Adagio – Again, after reading the book, the name of this tea is spot on. I made a cup for my ritual first bath while using all the BookBathBox products and opening the novel for the first time. This tea was something else, let me tell ya! It has this chocolaty flavor that is super delicious…but it is also very smoky. I fell in love with this tea, however, I will say that I could still really only handle one cup per sitting and it won’t be to everyone’s tastes. I will be looking to reorder this one also.
