War Storm
Series: Red Queen Series / Book: 4

In the fourth and final book of the Red Queen series, there is death, destruction, and heartbreak (and possibly a little hope). There are struggles between factions as to how to win Norta back from the younger Calore king, and also what to do with the country once they are victorious. Of course Cal and Mare struggle with their seemingly forbidden love but this one is worth the ride.
I can’t gush enough about how much I love the world Aveyard has created. I was once again sucked into the battles and super powers as much as I had been in the previous books. I glided through the pages and was perplexed as to how much was left to be divulged with only 100 pages left. I think there was enough content that there could have been one more book; but I think this is because I loved the series so much! The final two books are probably for a slightly more mature audience, but I think this is a great series for young adults. My only disappointment was the epilogue. This is hard for me to believe since it references Montana; it definitely is not the stereotypical Western ending but is left more ambiguous and bittersweet.
Obviously you should read this if you’ve read the previous books in the series. I would also suggest this one to those who loved Hunger Games or the Chronicles of Narnia.
