I finished the third, and final, book in the audio fools series. Lost in Rewind picks up where Lies in Rewind left us off. In this novel, Jeffrey stumbles through the days after he looses his wife to cancer, and goes in search of some answers that he has needed for over a decade. In the process he finds love in a very unexpected place. Dive into this book to find out which characters find their happily ever afters, and which don’t.
Welp, she did it! I was so pissed off at the end of the last book that I thought there was no way Alexander could make me happy with the final book in her romance series. She pulled it off though, and it’s because she is sly and I didn’t pay enough attention to the fine details. I will say, as I was finishing up this book I realized that as we go through each book in the series, the sex scenes get less salacious and focus more on the romantic stories. It’s not necessarily connected to that realization, but I liked the first two books more than this last one. This one was still great, and had me squirreling away as much time as I could to binge read it, but it didn’t grip me nearly like the other love stories did.
I would recommend this story to anyone who liked the movie Serendipity.
