Crossroads of Twilight by Robert Jordan

Series: Wheel of Time / Book: 10

I’m at the end of book eleven for the Wheel of Time series and I just can not get enough of this world that Jordan has created! In this installment we find Mat fleeing Ebou Dar with his kidnap victims, Perrin has tracked down his missing wife to a town the Aiel are occupying and is planning on how to get her back, Elayne is doing her best to keep her claim to the throne, and Egwene is plotting her deposition of Elaida from the White Tower.

I keep holding my breath thinking I’m going to hit another slog in this series, but since I’ve come back from my break and read books 9 & 10, there has been nothing boring about any of these storylines. I keep having flashing thoughts back to when these characters were barely more than children back in Edmond’s Field and how far each one has come. I also keep thinking that there is so much left to cover and only four more books left…I’m not sure how it’s going to all fit in and I can’t wait to see what happens next. This is starting to become one of my favorite box sets of all time!
