Well people, this is the final book in the Wheel of Time series. The vast majority of this book is the last battle. The clash of good and evil, the bloodiest fray…all to save the world. This one was for all the cookies folks!
I was just going to leave another paragraph here that said “Go out and read this captivating series ya fools!” or something to that effect. But then I found I actually had something to say about this final book. There is so much time and energy spent in reading the 13 books that come before this final chapter, so I was worried there might be some disappointment in how this massive storyline ended. Who would die that I loved? Could I survive the losses? I will concede, there was a LOT of ugly crying on my part as I finished the Last Battle (you can ask my husband as he seemed mildly concerned for me). Without giving spoilers, I was wholly satisfied with how Sanderson (and Jordan) wrapped up this epic tale.
