Galbraith does it again! This is the third book in the Cormoran Strike series and I have to say, it’s just as good as the other two. In this case, Strike is the target of a sadistic killer who has a score to settle. Can Strike and his partner find the murderer before more innocent victims are found? And what happens when his partner becomes the final target of the killer’s rage? Pick up this insanely addicting read to find out!
As I’ve said in the past review of this book series, Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling) winds a narrative so well that you aren’t quite sure who has done it until the very last pages. I will say, out of all the novels so far, this one was just slightly harder to follow and I was confusing the suspects a bit. This might have been a little easier to sort out if I had been physically reading it instead of listening as an audiobook…who’s to say. But I still found myself sneaking away time to listen to just a few more minutes here and there. I really can’t wait to find out what happens to him and his female partner in the next book.
I would recommend this book if you liked the movie From Hell or the book The Girl in the Ice.
