The Ocean at the End of the Lane
I picked up The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman for my book club this summer. It's the tale of a young boy who becomes wrapped up in the mystical happenings that start after a man commits suicide just down the road. An intriguing girl helps him through his unbelievable conflicts, as she knows a little something about magic herself.
This is a short book..but it is OH SO FANTASTIC! It takes you back to children's bedtime stories in the most beautiful way. It's magical and engrossing, I recommend it to everyone!
