The Last Woman Standing
Finished a book last night...and it wasn't a murder mystery!!!
The Last Woman Standing is a historical fiction about one woman who influenced the stand off at the O.K. Corral. Women in the West had to be strong in order to survive. Josephine Marcus was not only strong enough, but she was also bold enough to take a stand to choose who to love.
I would say this is technically a romance novel...but not in the Nora Roberts kind of way. It is well written, sexy and still full of wild west gun fights over land and women. It is the first novel I have sat and been consumed with in a while.
I would recommend it to anyone who would like to see the fairly accurate historical fiction story of what led to the famous gunfight at the corral, or to someone who enjoys romantic novels.
