Of Mice and Men
I promised everyone a classic...so here it is.
Of Mice and Men is easy to read and quite short (like 116 pages short). It follows two men traveling for work during the Great Depression. One is large, strong, and has the mind of a five year old; the other takes care of him even when he unknowingly causes trouble. Their only dream is to get enough money to own their own piece of land.
I recommend this book to everyone. First, it's a classic and influenced many other forms of art. Second, if you're going to try a classic and it's not typically your thing....this one is nice and short.
