Everything is Illuminated
So I finished re-reading a book for my book club about a week ago and never got around to posting about it. Upon a second reading of Everything Is Illuminated I see it differently then when I read it in college. I'm not sure if it's because I'm at a different place in my life now, or due to the new experiences I've gained. I don't remember it being so filled with sex and sadness, each of which tie many elements of the book together for me. I still really love this book...and I could write a long review of it. But the short story is...it's not an easy read, and it's very thought provoking. If you are into that kind of book I highly recommend it. If not, I still say take the time to watch the movie with Elijah Wood in it.
