Crime and Punishment
I finally finished this Russian classic! Overall, I find some of the themes quite interesting, such as the degradation into delirium and paranoia after committing a violent crime. What made this a difficult read for me, was the lollygagging side stories that droned on forever and could have been cut down considerably. It was so bad that I often forgot the last place the main storyline left off.
I would recommend this one only to those that love the classics and want to read them all at some point. It could also be an alright choice for a book club as there are interesting subjects that could be debated.
